Introductions First

Good evening to you!

A (quiet) feminist who's always been proud of her strength as well as her kindness, I was once again dismayed with our society upon seeing this image pop up. Everyone has been making posts about it lately, and I even took a chance to start looking around. Because surely, surely, there are more resources for girls and women that are not all about our looks.

To be honest, it's been rather difficult.

Girls' Life magazine puts itself out to 10- to 15-year-old girls. And the tabs include Trending, Crushes, and more. I had high hopes for the Books section, but the majority were romances. And even other girls' and womens' blogs carried the same topics.

Whereas mens' cover anything from politics, camping, and more?

So here's what I propose:

This is a blog, but barely that. Here is a set of resources for girls and women in school, in careers, and overall, in life. Because at the end of the day, we don't generally fall into bed remembering how perfect our hair was, plotting the next move on our crush, or how we're going to paint our nails in the morning. We're making game plans on how to succeed, making plans for our future, and for fun.

Let's do this!
